A big thank to Dr. Bibb for treating the PISD summer staff to lunch & building our Buffalo Nation Community with acts of kindness and appreciation. Great game tonight by our Buffaloes!! We beat Lorenzo 33-19 to clinch 3rd place in district and advance to the playoffs!! We will get the details out on that game when they are final. Great job, men and thank you to all the fans for the amazing crowd support and environment!!
The varsity boys basketball team will play Lorenzo on Friday, February 21st at 8:00 p.m. at Lubbock Roosevelt for a play-in game to see who will be 3rd place in district and advance to the playoffs. We will be the visitors. Tickets are $4 for adults and $2 for students.
Petersburg ISD Schools will have a two hour delayed start on Wednesday, February 12th. Classes will begin at 10:00 a.m. We will run our bus route. Breakfast will not be served on the days where we have a late start.

OUR HS GIRLS/BOYS GAMES WILL STILL BE PLAYED HOWEVER THE TIMES HAVE BEEN CHANGED. V-GIRLS 5:00 P.M. AND V-BOYS 6:30 P.M.. Also, Seniors for Senior Night Will be presented immediately following the varsity Girls game.
