Hello Buffalo Nation!! The Garage Sale will take place on Saturday, February 5th from 8am-5pm. This is a first come first serve, “As Is”, sale of surplus items from the Old Petersburg ISD School. Accepting Cash/Checks only. As stated before, we are unable to hold items due to construction schedules. This is a cash and carry event, meaning that if you would like to purchase an item, you will need to bring the tools necessary to remove what you would like to purchase. We look forward to seeing everyone on Saturday. Thank You.

Hello Buffalo Nation!!! On Saturday, February 5th, from 8:00am-5:00pm, Petersburg ISD will be having a garage sale at the old Petersburg ISD building. The entrance to the sale will be the double doors next to the old Superintendent's office. This will be an ‘As Is’ sale and everything you purchase must be removed by the end of the sale that day. We are unable to hold items for any amount of time due to the asbestos abatement and demolition schedule. If you want an item in the school that has to be taken down off a wall or unbolted from the floor, you will need to bring tools to remove those items and haul them out. Petersburg ISD is not liable for any accidents that occur during this sale. Everything left in the building will be up for sale. A list of items that are for sale and their prices will be released Thursday via Facebook and our School Website. If you come across an item that is not listed, please ask an administrator that is on duty. We hope that you can come join us and purchase a piece of history before it is gone. This may be the last opportunity you may have to enter the building before we say our goodbyes to this piece of history. This moment is bittersweet. We are sad to see it go but excited to see the new opportunities we have in the new building!

Hello Buffalo Nation, Due to the inclement weather, we will be releasing High School students at 2:45 and Elementary students at 3:00 today, January 26th. Elementary students will be dismissed in the North parking lot that is closest to the gym. The WEST Parking lot by the auditorium will be CLOSED! Again, high school students will release at 2:45 and everyone else will be released at 3:00 from the NORTH parking lot. Thank you and please be safe!

In the event that the school has to have a delayed start or a cancellation, information will be available four different ways. Information will be available through a Facebook post, through the Lubbock News Channels, on the schools website, and through a phone alert. It's time to start ordering Valentine Cookies for your special VALENTINE! Petersburg HS FCCLA is NOW taking pre-orders for Valentine Cookies & Ribbons. All students will be sent home with forms this week. **All orders are due back to school by Feb. 4th and will be delivered to student's on Feb. 11th.** Thank you for your continued support. ~ Mrs. Marquez

Hello Buffalo Nation!! I wanted to pass along the new drop off and pick up procedures that will start January 5th when the students return to class. Elementary Students will enter the building through the doors just south of the Auditorium. They will walk under the awning into the building. We will have plenty of help to get them into the building. Junior High and High School students will park and enter the building on the North side closest to the gym. They will enter the building through the gym entrance. Please see the attached diagram to help everyone understand the process. Happy Holidays Buffalo Nation!!! I hope everyone has had a wonderful holiday break. I wanted to remind everyone that the students will be returning to class on Wednesday, January 5th . The teachers will be working hard on Monday, January 3rd and Tuesday, January 4th to get everything prepared in the new school to welcome all the kids back to class. Drop off and Pick up procedures will be sent out Friday, December 31st on Facebook and it will be posted on our website at www.petersburgisd.net. Have a great rest of your holiday week and we will see you on January 5th .

Attention Parents: An important reminder to all students , especially 7th graders. PISD must have current immunization records on file. You may have received your immunizations this past year but unless the school nurse has a copy of your recent vaccines you cannot attend the first day of class and will be sent home. Your records must be brought to the school before Wednesday, August 18th, not on the 1st day of school. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Nurse Francis at 806-667-3585.
