
Petersburg High School proudly announces our Class of 2023 valedictorian and salutatorian.
Our PHS valedictorian is Gabriella Montez. Gabriella is the daughter of Jesus and Angelic Montez. She plans to attend Texas Tech and major in Business Administration. Gabby graduates with a 96.56 GPA.
Ebediah Nava is our PHS Class of 2023 salutatorian. Ebediah is the daughter of Rogelio and Marie Nava. She plans to attend Lubbock Christian University and major in Animal Science and pursue a career as a veterinarian. Ebediah graduates with a GPA of 95.18
We could not be prouder of these two young ladies. They have carried themselves with the utmost class and character all of their years at Petersburg ISD.
Congratulations, Gabriella and Ebediah! Your hard work and dedication have paid off and have set you on an amazing path. We wish you the best always!

Mrs. Taylor and Miss Samantha do an excellent job keeping everything from PreK -12th grade running smoothly.
Mrs. Navarro oversees so much as Superintendent's secretary while making sure we all know the high standard that has been set in place at Buffalo Nation. Her years of service have been such an asset to our school.
Mrs. Robertson works diligently as our school's Business Manager to make sure all things are done with integrity and in excellence.
Ladies, we can never adequately thank you all! Your heart for our school shows in all that you do and we are so grateful.

A big congratulations to Coda Daniel!
Coda has been awarded the following scholarships:
$2,000 Angelo State Freshman Scholarship
$1,000 Hale County Soil and Water Conservation Scholarship
$500 Masonic Lodge Scholarship
All scholarships were based on her high academic achievement and leadership skills.
Coda has served in several leadership roles at Petersburg ISD including Student Council President, FFA President, Cheerleader and has served on the TEEN SUMMIT team while maintaining a high GPA.

Petersburg ISD is excited to host another Invitational Track Meet for the High School on Thursday, April 6th. We will have approximately 8 teams competing in this track meet! In celebration to that, we will be releasing school on that day at 12:45 PM so that people may attend the track meet. Please note, there is NO SCHOOL on Friday, April 7th AND Monday, April 10th. What a perfect opportunity to highlight our amazing Band Directors!
Kadee McInroe and James McInroe have done an excellent job for Buffalo Nation. From extra summer practices to extra after school practices, their hard work and dedication have been paying off. With a great marching season, to several band members making All Region or Honor Band, to straight I ratings for their UIL concert and sight reading performances, they have taken our Buffalo Band to higher heights.

Congratulations to Creed Evans and Kenlee Vaughn at the Houston Lamb and Goat Show! Creed received 10th place with his goat and Kenlee received 16th place with her lamb.
Creed placed 10th out of 64 goats.
Kenlee placed 16th out of 96 lambs.
