School Work and Technology Pick Up Information

Information for School Work and Technology Pick Up:

Parents, we will have pick up for hard copy work and needed technology on Friday, March 27th. We are trying to have scheduled pick up times in order to limit the number of people around at one time. These are the times for pick up:

Pre-K: 8:00 a.m. - 9:00 a.m. Kindergarten: 9:30 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. 1st Grade: 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. 2nd Grade: 12:30 p.m. - 1:30 p.m. 3rd Grade: 8:00 a.m. - 9:00 a.m. 4th Grade: 9:30 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. 5th Grade: 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. 6th Grade: 8:00 a.m. - 9:00 a.m. 7th Grade: 9:30 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. 8th Grade: 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. 9th Grade: 8:00 a.m. - 9:00 a.m. 10th Grade: 9:30 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. 11th Grade: 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. 12th Grade: 12:30 p.m. - 1:30 p.m.

We will have the following locations for pick up: Pre-K, Kindergarten, 1st, and 2nd Grade: in front of elementary school entrance 3rd, 4th, and 5th Grade: in front of the auditorium entrance 6th, 7th, and 8th Grade: in front of the superintendent's office entrance 9th, 10th, 11th, and 12th Grade: in front of the high school entrance

If you are a parent with multiple children that would need different pick up times, we will allow you to pick up for all of your children when you come up. If you are coming up to pick up breakfast, we will allow you to start picking up information at that time. We will continue to serve breakfast from 7:30-8:30 a.m. and lunch from 11:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. at the same spot that we have all week.

We will have tables set up at each location with a bag with your child's name on it that will have everything in it that they need. We will have a similar drive through format to what we have had for breakfast and lunch pick up. Everyone will start down by the high school and drive through the line. When you get to the spot to pick up for your child, you will get out and get the bag for your child and then keep moving through the line. We are asking that you try to limit to one parent, guardian, or a child that drives in the car to get the materials. If your children want to see their teachers, they can ride along and wave or say hi from the car. We are trying to limit exposure and people in one space at one time and we want to limit the number of people outside the car in these locations. We will have teachers working the tables to answer any questions that you may have.

The teachers have been putting assignments together and working on setting up platforms in Google Classroom. Every student has a school email and should receive an invite in their email to each teacher's Google Classroom. If not, Mrs. Orozco has set up a link on our website that will directly connect to Google Classroom. Then your child would just need to sign in and they would have access to their teachers sites. We will begin instructional work on Monday, March 30th.

One point that we want to make is that we will not allow anyone to enter the building that is not essential school personnel. If your child needs something from inside the school or if you would like to pick up any of their personal belongings that have been left up here during the break, please let us know ahead of time so we can have it in their bags.

If you have any questions, please let us know. Not every child will have a bag. The teachers have been in contact and are providing either hard copy work or technology that has been requested. If you already have the things at home that you need, then you do not need to come up here.

As with anything else, if you are sick or running a fever, please do not come up to the school. We do not want to expose anyone to sickness. Let us know if you need assistance and we will find a way to accommodate.

Thank you for your help, support, and cooperation with this process. We greatly appreciate it.
