School Board Election Set For May 8
The Petersburg ISD School Board election will take place on Saturday, May 8th at the Petersburg Community Center. Early voting at the Petersburg City Offices will begin April 28th and continue through May 4th. The places currently held by Melanie Morris and Tommy Roden were uncontested and the incumbents will begin new three year terms in May. The place currently held by Mark Hegi will be filled by either Travis Vaughn or John Gicante. Hegi, current board president, did not file for re-election. He served a total of 21 years on the PISD board.
